Blog #6: My Plan During the Summer Vacation

Hi! I'm Koichi.

After we finish our tests, summer vacation comes! In this blog, I'll introduce my plan during the summer vacation.

First, I'm going to go to Nagano Prefecture with my club members. We stay there for 5 days. During this stay, we hold debate in English. I think it is hard, but this experience helps my English skills improve.
Of course, we will have other events, such as fireworks and suika-wari. Most Japanese people enjoy them every summer. If you don't know them, please watch videos below.


I believe this stay is fun!!

Next, I'm going back to my home in Hakodete, Hokkaido. Hakodate isn't as hot as Tokyo, so I'm looking for going. I think it is good to study or read books. I hope my I could finish all assignments in Hakodate. Also, I want to see one of the most beautiful night views in Japan. Have you ever seen this sight?  If you have never seen it, I recommend you to see at least once.
So far, these are plans during my summer vacation. Do you have any plans during your summer vacation? If you do, could you tell me what your plan is.

Anyway, we MUST go through tests before the summer vacation:-(

    Do you know how to use future tense? Summer vacation is in the future you know.

    Exams in Japanese colleges are as easy as spelling tests from middle school. The only reason Japanese students think these exams are hard, is because they hate studying. Period.

    I'm moving right now, and I will be in my new apartment by July 21st. On August 3rd, I will be going to New York for a month. Once I return, I will have started my case study research project on an American college student who will acquire Japanese at the native level in one year. It'll prove how worthless the Japanese English curriculum is.

    Your plan during summer vacation is very exciting. Like you, I have many plans in this summer. I am going to camp with my club members for fun, go to event of fireworks with my friends, and meet with my child hood friend. Isn't it enjoyable, do you think? After this summer vacation, we want to talk about events during vacation each other! I hope you will have a very exciting summer vacation.

    Having such hot days here, hokkaido should be a great place to stay at for the summer. I'm going to return to my hometown Tochigi too, but I don't think the weather would be so different from here.
    I would like to go to Hokkaido one day-the food should be great.
